my Hosio style

From January 10th to 13th Hosio presented at Pitti Uomo the new Fall/Winter 17/18 collection.

Displaying a new collection is always a great pleasure, and doing it at Pitti is so much more. It must be because the international environment, the magnificence of the city, the opportunity to meet many friendly faces, but this show excites us every time.

Pitti is also a testing ground, the first occasion to display the collection, in brief it is the first real moment for an outside feedback after so many months of tests and in-house work.
Those who visited our booth located in the Arsenal Pavilion had the opportunity to discover everything about our new creature. For those who could not be there but wish to learn something more, we will make an exception disclosing here its highlights.

Tradition and innovation are the two key words of the collection which offers on the one hand modernity and sophistication, on the other comfort and versatility. Nocturne is the name of the latest Hosio creation, it explores darkness from a positive urban point of view, celebrating the magic of dusk lights, the concept of shadows lightened by few notes of bright colors. The classic patterns, as is tradition in Hosio collections, are reinterpreted.

Traditional designs such as Prince of Wales and the Checks give life to new knit structures, very modern and original. Faithful to the concept of tradition mixed with innovation the Hosio collection enhances comfort and multifunctional approach. Research and experimentation, the endless and perpetual work-in-progress of the brand, confirm knitting as the lead actor of the collection, where the key is the mix between nightwear and daywear, with garments working for both the occasions.

The total look offers new versions of the Beetle Jacket, new structures and new jacquard patterns in line with the collection enhance their usability in a compromise between solid color and patterns. Absolute must-have also are the soft deconstructed jacquard coats, in the shades of black with gray, green and blue undertones, made in the name of softness and warmth to face winter temperatures ‘with lightness’.

We also find the so-called ‘personality garments’ which peep out every season characterizing the collection. Those of the F/W 17-18 are a ‘pajama’ shirt, chic and trendy even for everyday use, in tobacco brown and the colored neck warmers, can’t-miss accessories. Proportions in the collection are traditionally slim and with clean cuts, the attention to details is still one of the top focus of the brand.
